Sue established the practice in 2001 as its sole director, and is an RIBA chartered architect. Her architectural training took place at the Architectural Association, London, under the tutelage of Peter Salter. She in turn has taught architectural design at the AA and UEL. Sue also holds a BAHons in Fine Art.
Prior to setting up practice, Sue worked for Glenis Grieve Architects, London on private housing and with Mecanoo Architekten in the Netherlands on major schemes in Delft, Budapest, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, including the library at the Technical University of Delft, winner of the Corus Construction Award for the Millennium 1999.
Sue was a Senior Designer at Studio Sipek in Amsterdam and Prague, where she was involved in the design of bespoke interiors and high quality commissions for clients including Karl Lagerfeld and Driade. At Studio E Architects, London, Sue was team leader for design development of the Emslie Horniman Pleasance, an award winning public park in central London. Following this Sue spent six years as Associate and design director at AEA, where her work went on to win numerous awards for the practice.
